About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Remote Data Entry and Aviation Engineering Support Specialist. Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Data Entry and Aviation Engineering Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Keeping informed of day-to-day airline operations involving your field of responsibility
- Assessing daily priorities in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives
- Investigating aircraft/component problems that may cause aircraft delays or cancellations, substantial expenditures in manpower or materials, or interruptions in maintenance operations, and determining appropriate corrective actions
- Providing Engineering support as required for disposition of discrepant conditions affecting aircraft or components in order to restore serviceable status
- Responding to requests from Maintenance and other airline departments when technical assistance is required to support projects or resolve problems
- Developing action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and/or component engineering projects and pursuing final dispositions according to assessed priorities
- Coordinating with other airline departments, as required, to provide for effective and efficient implementation of engineering dispositions
- Preparing Engineering documents to implement technical dispositions by providing customized procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance actions that provide benefits in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in aviation engineering, maintenance, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
