Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced remote data entry clerk to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data entry, administrative work, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently in a remote setting, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry and Record-Keeping: Manage multiple databases to ensure accurate record-keeping and data organization. Enter required grant data accurately into NRS to meet monthly, quarterly, and year-end deadlines.
- Data Maintenance and Security: Maintain appropriate records and follow required procedures and practices for attendance and assessment data. Ensure data is accessible in a timely manner to staff and other stakeholders.
- Error Checks and Data Clean-up: Complete regular error checks and data clean-up in NRS to ensure accurate reporting.
- Organizational and Prioritization Skills: Organize and prioritize tasks to meet all local, state, and program deadlines.
- Student Outcomes and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate student outcomes including, but not limited to pre/post testing with state mandated assessments.
- Administrative Tasks: Participate in staff meetings and professional development, scan documents and labels items, inventory supplies, perform basic word processing, organize digital files and materials, prepare mailings, and assist with filing.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED required.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures; knowledge of MS Office Software, including Excel.
- Organizational and Communication Skills: Ability to perform office work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy; plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively; communicate effectively; work cooperatively with others; and work under pressure with frequent interruptions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in data entry, administrative work, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with NRS and FERPA.
