About the Role
As a Remote Data Entry Operator at blithequark, you will be responsible for entering large amounts of data into our customer information system and other Public Works software with a high degree of speed and accuracy. This position is a vital part of our Customer Service Division within Business Operations, requiring independent thinking, good judgement, and personal initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain utility accounts with precision and attention to detail.
- Verify account eligibility and accessibility to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Prepare, distribute, and complete work orders efficiently, adhering to deadlines.
- Prepare files for mass customer communications, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
- Assist with mailing billing statements and other notices generated in-house, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Scan or retain documents as necessary, adhering to company protocols for data storage and management.
- Perform monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Enter data into Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking databases to support business intelligence and decision-making.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- High School Diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED).
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist, showcasing your ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
- Pass computer skills, typing and accuracy, and 10-key skills testing to demonstrate your proficiency in data entry and related software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
