We are now seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team, specifically within the Information Analysis group, to support the Subscriber Tasks capability. This role will play a pivotal role in measuring subscriber adjustments across the arenaflex Streaming portfolio, including arenaflex+, Hulu, ESPN+, and Star+.
Job Overview
The primary responsibility of this position is to support ongoing subscriber measurement for various business-critical initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with our upstream informing partners to ensure accurate delivery of subscription change messaging, including price increases, subscriber arrangements, and new data being collected. This role will also assist in identifying subscribers impacted by episodes requiring timely and lawful remediations, collaborating with incident management, Business Operations, and trade engineering to guarantee the integrity of our subscriber adjusts and that clients receive refunds when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage data entry and document requirements related to subscriber informing drives and episode remediation, ensuring that the right clients receive refunds when required.
- Develop queries based on required business logic, sometimes legally committing, to determine accurate companions of subscribers for informing and/or remediation.
- Communicate business requirements to technical teams and provide concise summaries of technical progress or potential detours to business partners.
- Develop strong knowledge of subscriber adjusts and the technical system that underlies subscriber data.
- Manage project planning and schedules, and facilitate cross-functional delivery to ensure readiness for significant business events.
- Drive alignment across Data, Business Operations, and Finance through the development of robust communication processes and operational playbooks.
- In collaboration with Data Product and Data Quality Engineering, contribute to the design of robust reporting solutions that minimize data incidents.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of work experience developing in SQL, particularly in an ETL processing pipeline.
- 2+ years of analytical experience.
- Proven ability to convey technical and/or analytical concepts to a wide range of audiences.
- Knowledge of Python/R or other statistical programming languages.
- Knowledge of data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable:
- Understanding of statistical concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis).
- Postgraduate education.
- Knowledge of Airflow.
