About the Role
We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of our data center facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our critical infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, and security systems. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the success of our data center operations, and your passion for innovation and sustainability will be a valuable asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems for our data center facilities, including transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, and PDUs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, infrastructure, and construction, to ensure seamless integration of new electrical distribution systems
- Conduct site visits to monitor and maintain electrical equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise
- Develop and implement procedures for maintenance, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
- Manage vendors and contractors performing construction, maintenance, and upgrade work in our data center facilities
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies
- Provide technical expertise and support for critical electrical systems, including distributed and block redundant design
- Develop and maintain documentation of electrical systems, including diagrams, manuals, and training materials
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in electrical engineering, with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering, or equivalent experience. You should also have:
- 5+ years of experience in designing and operating data center critical infrastructure
- A comprehensive understanding of electrical and mechanical systems used in data center environments
- Knowledge of construction procedures, terminology, and documentation, including the ability to interpret plans, electrical SLDs, mechanical SLDs, and construction drawings
- Practical experience with BMS, EPMS, and automation controls
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates with:
- Experience in managing vendors and contractors performing construction, maintenance, and upgrade work in large-scale critical environments
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for data center operations and maintenance
- Familiarity with distributed and block redundant design principles

- Certifications in electrical engineering, data center operations, or related fields
