Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales growth by identifying, qualifying, and converting leads into customers. Your day-to-day activities will include:
- Responding to inbound leads and inquiries via email, Zoom, and phone
- Identifying ideal outbound prospects and reaching out to them to gauge interest and introduce our platform
- Conducting thorough discovery and qualifying Zoom calls to assess prospects' needs and determine if they are a good fit for our platform
- Demoing our platform to prospects via Zoom to showcase its features and benefits
- Following up with new leads and existing customers to drive them deeper into the sales funnel and close deals
- Collaborating with our customer care and onboarding team to ensure seamless communication and prompt attention to prospects and customers
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- At least 5 years of software sales experience, with a proven track record of success in inbound and outbound sales
- Demonstrated expertise in sales prospecting, with a strong ability to identify and qualify leads
- Proficiency in using tech tools for communicating with and tracking prospects, including CRM/sales applications, customer support software, and online communications tools
- Excellent communication skills, including phone, Zoom, email, and social media
- A strong understanding of the events industry, with previous experience in the field being a plus
- A 4-year college degree or 2-year associate's degree
