- Receiving inbound materials, marking them with identifying information, recording the amount received, sorting materials, and stocking them on racks, shelves, or bins according to a predetermined sequence.
- Reading production schedules, order forms, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed, and compiling worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
- Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributing them to production workers or the assembly line.
- Assembling customer orders from stock, placing them on pallets or shelves, or conveying them to the packing station or shipping department.
- Operating hand trucks, carts, dollies, forklifts, order-pickers, and walkies to transport stored items from the warehouse to the plant or to pick up items for shipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse through housekeeping duties, including all forms of warehouse cleanup.
Essential Qualifications
