If you are looking for variety and want to feel like an integral part of the team by providing direction and insight into best-practice, look no further!  As the Finance Operations Manager, your initial responsibilities will be focusing on ensuring we have a best practice methodology for bring on new clients including a financial health assessment of their profit, balance sheet and cash flow as well as providing a solid month-end process and producing their monthly financial reports using Fathom. As well as undertaken some client bookkeeping to get a grasp of how the industry works and to document Standard Operating Procedures ready to handover to the next bookkeeper or accountant.   The opportunities of this role are endless for the right person, as we grow, you will grow with it. As new bookkeeping and accounting contractors come on board, it will be your responsibility to ensure they are sufficiently trained and monitor their ongoing performance & training.   The Finance Operations Manager will be responsible for preparing and managing accurate and timely financial documents in line with reporting and general accounting. Joining the team at ground zero allows for both growth and variety. Not only will this role be undertaking bookkeeping & business insight services for our clients, but the opportunity to work alongside the Founders to set up financial systems & processes for Tactical Tradie.    Responsibilities    - Assist Tactical Tradie to set up & maintain their own best practice financial systems & processes  - Undertake new client financial health checks including balance sheet review, profitability & cash flow.  - Provide recommendations and input into the service we provide to our clients and how we can continually improve and amaze  - Develop & undertake a standard month-end process for our clients including balance sheet reconciliations and preparing monthly reports in Fathom with insights into performance   - Utilising click-up and other Tactical Tradie software tools, ensure all clients have consistent, up to date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure as new staff members come onboard that client transition is seamless   - Client bookkeeping as required including bank reconciliations, AP processing, supplier statement reconciliations, and month-end reviews. Generally, Accounts Receivable and Payroll is not required.   - Manage new bookkeepers and accountants as they come onboard with Tactical Tradie    The non negotiables    - Solid XERO Bookkeeping experience (minimum 3 years).  - XERO Certification required  - CPA or equivalent qualification required  - Trade or construction business experience is highly regarded but not essential  - Experience with Fathom reporting highly regarded but not essential   - Strong English communication skills and comprehension  - Keen attention to detail and has reliable analytical skills with minimal error rate  - Excellent team player  - Working competency with administrative support tasks  - Highly organised  - Independent, self-sufficient, and highly resourceful  - Values integrity and reliability  - Has good initiative to always keep the client abreast
