We’re looking for an automation expert who can integrate Make.com with GoHighLevel using advanced webhook logic, API calls, and automated data syncing.
Our goal is to push data from GHL → Make.com, process it, enrich it, and send it back into GHL so it updates directly inside the interface—no manual work involved.
What We Want to Automate
1. GHL Webhook Triggers → Make.com → Back Into GHL
We want multiple automations where:
A contact action, tag, form, or pipeline event fires a webhook
Make.com receives, processes, or enriches the data
The processed data is pushed back to GHL (fields, notes, tasks, tags, statuses, etc.)
Updates appear inside the GHL contact profile in real time
Examples:
Lead scoring logic done in Make.com → updates score field in GHL
External API data enrichment → updates contact custom fields
Trigger-based workflows handled outside GHL but written back to CRM
2. Bi-Directional Data Syncing
We also want automated syncing between GHL and these tools (via Make.com):
Airtable
HubSpot
Shopify
Stripe
Notion
Slack
Automations will include:
Creating/updating contacts
Syncing pipeline stages
Aligning lead statuses
Syncing abandoned checkouts, payments, tasks, or support messages
3. Advanced Logic & External API Processing
We want scenarios that use Make.com for:
AI-based lead classification (OpenAI or other APIs)
Decision-making logic before pushing updates to GHL
Conditional routing (round robin, priority-based, region-based)
Merging duplicate records across systems
Generating summaries, insights, or notes and saving them to GHL
4. Operations Workflows
Additional internal automations we want to build:
Automatic activity logging inside GHL
Enriching leads from external APIs (job data, company data, LinkedIn data, etc.)
Automating support ticket updates
Internal notifications across Slack/Email/SMS
Automated tagging and segmentation rules
What We’re Looking For in a Candidate
Deep experience with Make.com scenarios, APIs & webhooks
Strong understanding of GoHighLevel’s fields, triggers, API & CRM logic
Ability to design automation architecture that’s scalable
Clean documentation, error-handling & modular logic
Someone who can think through automation, not just build it
Bonus Skills (Optional but Nice)
Experience with AI workflows (voice agents, chatbots, auto-tagging)
Ability to debug large/complex Make.com maps
Understanding of conversion tracking & CRM analytics
