Description We are seeking a Historic Preservation Sales Specialist to represent and grow our preservation client portfolio by developing relationships with owners, architects, preservation professionals, and public-sector stakeholders responsible for historic buildings. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, guiding clients through complex decision-making processes, and delivering solutions that align with preservation standards, regulatory requirements, and project goals. About Inspekt AI: Inspekt AI is transforming how building owners and operators detect, manage, and prevent façade and envelope failures. Our drone-powered inspections and AI-driven analysis help commercial real estate owners, property managers, REITs, and facilities teams identify issues early—before minor defects turn into six-figure repairs or safety risks. We work with complex, high-value assets and sell into technical, risk-aware buyers. This is not transactional sales—its consultative, problem-focused, and data-driven. Key Responsibilities - Develop and manage relationships with owners and stewards of historic properties, preservation architects, consultants, and public agencies - Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities for historic preservation services - Communicate the value of our services in a clear, accurate, and client-focused manner - Support clients in understanding regulatory frameworks, preservation standards, and project requirements - Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and project scopes in collaboration with internal teams - Participate in site visits, stakeholder meetings, and planning discussions - Address client questions and concerns related to cost, timelines, compliance, and preservation integrity - Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and client interactions Required Qualifications - Experience in business development or sales within construction, architecture, engineering, preservation, or related professional services - Strong communication and relationship-building skills - Ability to navigate complex approval processes and multi-stakeholder environments - Understanding of—or willingness to learn—historic preservation standards and regulatory considerations - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional environment Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with historic preservation projects or adaptive reuse work - Existing relationships within the preservation, architectural, or municipal sectors - Experience selling professional or technical services Performance Expectations - Consistent development of qualified sales opportunities - Contribution to revenue growth and client retention - Accurate project scoping and alignment with internal delivery teams - Professional representation of the company with clients and partners What We Offer - Sell a differentiated, real-world solution solving expensive and visible problems - Work directly with experienced founders and sales leadership - Opportunity to grow into Senior SDR or Account Executive roles - Help build the outbound motion from the ground up - Remote flexibility with a high-trust, high-ownership culture
