Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Freight Delivery Specialist to join our team at our remote facility. As a key member of our logistics team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through timely and friendly delivery and collection of packages and FedEx Office customer orders. Responsibilities
- Deliver and retrieve packages and customer orders: Ensure timely and friendly delivery and collection of packages and FedEx Office customer orders, providing exceptional customer service support along the way.
- Inspect shipments for compliance: Verify that shipments align with the specified features of FedEx services, ensuring that our customers receive the level of service they expect from us.
- Provide exceptional customer service: Offer top-notch assistance to enhance the overall customer experience, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Drive company vehicles safely and securely: Operate company-owned vehicles responsibly, ensuring that they are regularly serviced and cleaned to maintain a high level of safety and efficiency.
- Adjust routes as necessary: Use route information received from a centralized dispatcher to adjust routes and ensure that deliveries are made efficiently and effectively.
- Comply with traffic guidelines and regulations: Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring a safe and secure driving experience for both our customers and our employees.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a combination of skills, qualifications, and personal attributes. Here are some of the key requirements:
