Every role contributes to strengthening that foundation, and this position will help architect how learning, performance, and development come to life across the organization. ✨ Why This Role Matters As a Learning & Performance Specialist, you will shape how knowledge flows, how performance is developed, and how people grow at eLEND. This is not a traditional training role. You will design systems, frameworks, and experiences that scale learning across the business and turn everyday work into meaningful development. Your work directly impacts employee performance, client experience, and long-term organizational success. You will help create an environment where learning is embedded, leadership is strengthened, and people are set up to succeed from day one. ️ Key Responsibilities Building a Culture of Learning (Primary Focus) Design and embed a learning ecosystem where knowledge sharing is owned by everyone, not just a single function Establish a “train the trainer” philosophy across teams, enabling leaders and subject matter experts to teach effectively Create scalable frameworks using AI tools, video, storytelling, and modern learning techniques to transfer knowledge Champion rapid, iterative learning approaches that balance speed with depth Develop rotational programs, onboarding pathways, and knowledge-sharing initiatives that accelerate time to proficiency in mortgage Learning Design & Delivery Build high-impact learning experiences across in-person, virtual, and self-paced formats with a focus on engagement and real-world application Introduce gamification strategies such as simulations, scenario-based learning, certification journeys, and cohort-based programs Design leadership development pathways leveraging internal expertise and external partners Create onboarding journeys that enable new hires to become productive and confident quickly Performance Management Own and evolve the performance review lifecycle, including design, communication, calibration, and iteration Partner with People and business leaders to create performance practices that are meaningful, actionable, and widely adopted Coach leaders on delivering effective feedback and developing their teams proactively Facilitate workshops that strengthen performance conversations across the organization Measurement & Continuous Improvement Define clear success metrics and feedback loops for all learning and performance programs Use data to evaluate effectiveness, improve outcomes, and drive decision making Continuously refine programs based on measurable impact and organizational needs Maintain a high standard of accountability for ROI and program effectiveness Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales, Operations, Product, and Leadership teams to align learning initiatives with business goals Translate business needs into scalable learning and performance solutions Contribute to initiatives that improve employee experience, engagement, and effectiveness What You Bring Required 2+ years of experience in training, performance management, or a related field with exposure to strategy, facilitation, and program development Proven ability to build programs that drive measurable outcomes, not just content delivery Strong systems thinking mindset with the ability to design scalable frameworks rather than one-off sessions Experience using modern tools such as AI content platforms, Loom, Scribe, Canva, Storyline, or similar Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across levels without direct authority Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Preferred Experience using gamification, storytelling, or non-traditional learning methods to drive engagement and retention Background in client-facing or service-oriented environments such as mortgage, financial services, hospitality, or retail Experience mentoring or developing others in formal or informal leadership capacities Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with high ownership Growth Opportunities This role offers the opportunity to define and scale how learning and performance operate at eLEND.
