You have conquered difficult mathematical challenges. Now apply that expertise to preparing talented students who will compete, advance, and succeed.
GT School serves families seeking outcomes beyond conventional academic performance. We develop gifted students through authentic competitive experiences: national and international tournaments, publicly verifiable results, and accomplishments that shape their futures. This position is essential because our mathematics curriculum succeeds only when students emerge from each session more capable, more confident, and fully prepared for competitive environments.
This is not a standard tutoring position. You will facilitate live online workshops designed to challenge exceptional students, provide focused preparation for competitions such as AMC and AIME, and develop high-quality resources that elevate standards across GT Anywhere and GT campus locations. If you excel at transforming natural ability into documented achievement and can communicate sophisticated concepts with precision, this role will suit you.
If you possess a verifiable history of mathematical distinction and wish to contribute to developing future champions, we invite your application.
What You Will Be Doing
• Develop and conduct 2–4 live online domain workshops weekly that cultivate competition-grade mathematical reasoning
• Provide 1:1 or small-group coaching focused on specific competitions through mock examinations, timed practice sessions, and comprehensive analysis
• Identify weaknesses rapidly and design individualized development plans aligned with each student's objectives and competition schedule
• Monitor student advancement using a structured mathematics progression framework and modify teaching methods based on performance data
• Produce original, challenging problem collections and modular instructional materials suitable for broader use by other educators
What You Won’t Be Doing
• Provide unfocused homework assistance or grade-improvement tutoring lacking defined, quantifiable results
• Conduct conventional classroom-format instruction limited to standard academic requirements
• Offer unorganized problem-solving practice without strategic planning, assessment mechanisms, or competitive preparation pathways
• Rely on duplicated or insufficiently rigorous content that fails to satisfy competitive mathematics benchmarks

• Effective online teaching skills and capability to maintain student engagement through video platforms
• Availability for 5–10 hours weekly
• Dependable internet connection and professional video equipment
Nice-to-have Requirements
• Current, ongoing participation as a competitor, coach, or creator of competition-oriented educational content
