Next Gen Director

BOLD Church is a growing church plant in Boulder County with a simple heart: help people belong, overcome, live, and discover—and that starts with the next generation. We’re looking for a Next Gen Director to lead ministry for kids and students from birth through high school, build volunteer teams, and partner with parents to create safe, joyful, and faith-forming environments. This role is ideal for someone who loves Jesus, loves people, and wants to build something meaningful from the ground up. About the Role The Next Gen Director oversees all Next Gen ministry at BOLD Church. • Sundays focus on kids ministry (birth–5th grade) • Weekdays/evenings focus on middle and high school students • The role blends hands-on ministry, team leadership, and culture-building You won’t be stepping into a polished machine — you’ll be helping build one with a strong, healthy foundation. What You’ll Do Kids Ministry (Birth–5th Grade | Sundays) • Lead and execute engaging, age-appropriate, Bible-centered kids environments • Recruit, train, schedule, and care for volunteers • Ensure safe, welcoming, and well-organized Sunday experiences • Partner with parents to support discipleship at home Youth Ministry (Middle & High School | Weekly) • Build a relational, fun, and spiritually formative youth ministry • Plan and lead youth gatherings, events, and hangouts • Develop leaders who invest in students • Create spaces where students feel known, valued, and challenged to grow Leadership & Culture • Build and lead Next Gen volunteer teams • Collaborate closely with the Lead Pastors • Help shape vision, systems, and rhythms as the church grows • Communicate clearly with parents, volunteers, and leaders Who We’re Looking For • A genuine, growing relationship with Jesus • A heart for kids, students, and families • Leadership experience in kids and/or youth ministry • Strong relational and communication skills • Ability to lead and serve — sometimes in the same moment • Flexible, solution-oriented, and joyful • Aligned with the mission and values of BOLD Church Compensation • Paid position • Part-time or full-time, depending on experience and availability • Opportunity for growth as the church and role grow Why BOLD Church?
