- Reviewing and accepting charge sessions from assigned charge work queues with a high level of accuracy, analyzing charges to determine when required information is not provided or there is a discrepancy in the information given.
- Referring discrepancies to appropriate individuals for follow-up and providing documentation to support staff when necessary.
- Inputting payments and adjustments, reviewing insurance explanation of benefits to ensure that appropriate payments and adjustments are applied according to contractual requirements.
- Assisting in other clerical assignments such as scanning, filing, mail processing/delivery, and patient registration.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of data entry experience or a combination of related education and experience preferred.
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet accuracy and production standards in a fast-paced environment.
