You will be responsible for operating and maintaining a personal computer to enter data for paying freight invoices and reporting information. Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Operate a personal computer to accurately enter required customer data by interpreting various source documents and coded information.
- Perform required steps as dictated by online programs and procedures, handling exception items per established guidelines.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the transportation industry concepts and terms necessary for accurate data entry.
- Grasp the fundamentals of the billing/payment process and adhere to Cass generic procedures and customer-specific requirements.
- Logically plan your workday by prioritizing tasks and following established routines to meet time and quality standards.
- Utilize organizational skills to ensure that all bills are accounted for and processed efficiently.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Specialized training in keyboarding or prior keyboarding experience.
- The ability to type 9,000 keystrokes per hour with high accuracy.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- The capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A positive work attitude and a commitment to consistently working scheduled hours.
- Flexibility to adjust schedules and/or account assignments as necessary.
- Willingness to attend a 2+ week paid training program in-person at our Bridgeton office in the St. Louis area.
