The Events Marketing Intern supports the planning, promotion, and execution of marketing events, assisting with promotional assets and coordinating digital outreach efforts.
Responsibilities
• Support event promotion efforts across digital channels, including email and social media by developing promotional assets for events
• Maintain organized records of event plans, assets, and data in excel format. Upload records and spreadsheets to sharepoint
• Organize registration and revenue data from previous events
• Conduct research on venues, vendors, audiences, and industry trends
• Assist with sales reports and comparison chart
• Assist with social media where needed
• Additional marketing-related tasks as necessary
Skills
• Rising Junior, Senior, or graduate student in Sport and Entertainment Management, Marketing/Communications, or similar field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Canva
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with attention to detail
• Proven ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Comfortable working with data and drawing insights
• Self starter
• Must be able to work remotely
• Adobe Creative Suite knowledge preferred
