Responsibilities
• Functional testing with State project experience
• Experience in understanding complex custom application design and derive Test Cases for adequate E2E test coverage
• Test execution and defect identification
• Test Automation scripting experience with Selenium using co-pilot/ Cursor AI
• Expected Deliverable(s) Manual Test Script Generation Manual Test Execution Selenium Test Script generation using Curson AI Selenium Script execution Defect detection and documentation Defect retest
Skills
• Experience of US State govt
• Should be local to Nashville (preferred) or in central time-zone
• 4+ years of experience as a Software Tester or similar role
• Familiarity with Agile, hybrid Agile and waterwall frameworks
• Working knowledge of test management software like JIRA, JAMA etc
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

• Analyzing design documents / user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
• Creating detailed test scripts based on design

• Collaborate closely with other team members as needed
• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
• Design, develop and execute API test scripts using postman as needed
• Write SQL queries and per DB validations
• Detect, log and track defects across project lifecycle
• Come up with effective workarounds/ mitigations to make continuous testing progress
• Perform peer review of test scripts and defects
• Apply quality assurance and quality engineering principals throughout the Agile as well as waterfall product lifecycles
• Provide support and documentation as needed
• Create and run automated tests using Selenium leveraging co-pilot or Cursor AI
• Computer Science, Engineering or a related degree preferred
