As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for editing audio recordings from various incidents, such as car accidents and homeowner claims, with a strong emphasis on precision and grammatical accuracy. This fully remote role offers a competitive salary, immediate start date, and the flexibility to work from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert audio recordings into accurate verbatim transcripts with exceptional attention to detail
- Edit AI-generated text while adhering to specific style guides and client-specific formatting guidelines
- Maintain a high level of quality in all transcriptions, ensuring precision and grammatical accuracy
Required Skills:
- Exceptional listening skills with a keen eye for detail and strong literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar proficiency
- Proficient typing skills with both speed and accuracy, as well as strong adherence to deadlines
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment and maintain a high level of organization
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background check (note: this opportunity is not available to residents of Massachusetts, Illinois, or California)
- Relevant experience in transcribing and/or caption-to-verbatim editing of audio content
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in transcription and editing within a professional setting, with strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
