The role involves prototyping, designing user interfaces that visualize trust, and maintaining the Atomic Design System to ensure high-quality components.
Responsibilities
- Prototyping as Thinking: You don't just draw; you build. You use Protopie, Framer, or Code (React/CSS) to validate interaction physics. You know that an AI interface is about •latency• and •motion•, not just layout
- The 'Truth' UI: You will design the components that help millions of users distinguish 'Marketing Fluff' from 'Data Truth.' How do we visualize trust?
- System Hygiene: You will help maintain the Atomic Design System, ensuring that every component we ship is scalable, accessible, and pixel-perfect
Skills
- Prototyping as Thinking: You don't just draw; you build. You use Protopie, Framer, or Code (React/CSS) to validate interaction physics
- You know that an AI interface is about latency and motion, not just layout
- You will design the components that help millions of users distinguish 'Marketing Fluff' from 'Data Truth.'
- You will help maintain the Atomic Design System, ensuring that every component we ship is scalable, accessible, and pixel-perfect
- Your portfolio shows a deep obsession with typography, whitespace, and information density
- You admire the precision of Linear, Raycast, and Dieter Rams
- You have side projects. You have shipped apps, websites, or tools just to see if you could
- You don't wait for permission to build
- You don't need to be micromanaged
- If you see a broken pixel or a bad interaction, you fix it
- Studied HCI (Human-Computer Interaction) at CMU, Stanford, or UW
- Heavy Creative Coding background
- Education: CMU (HCI), RISD, ArtCenter, Stanford (Symsys/d.school)
- Experience: Internships or early roles at high-bar product cultures (Airbnb, Stripe, Linear, Apple, Notion)
