[Remote] US LBM Recruiter I

US LBM is one of the leading distributors of specialty building materials in the United States, and they are seeking a Recruiter I to source and screen applicants for high-volume and entry-level positions. The role involves collaborating with hiring managers, maintaining a pipeline of candidates, and ensuring compliance with recruitment practices. Responsibilities - Sources candidates for high volume position openings using applicant tracking database and job board key word searches, cold-calling prospective applicants, and referral sources, attending career fairs and networking - Develops and maintains a pipeline of candidates for assigned positions - Teams with hiring managers to determine plans to identify candidates including applicant tracking database searches, job board key word searches & phone/web mining - Plans and attends job fairs to develop a candidate pool for assigned positions as needed - Screens applicants and coordinates with hiring managers to schedule interviews - Documents and communicates employment recommendations to hiring managers - Posts jobs for recruitment as needed - Files and maintains employment records for future reference - Generates recruitment status reports (e.g., applicant flow, open requisitions, time to fill) - Participates in training to learn new recruitment practices and develops subject matter expertise in recruitment (e.g., sourcing, compliance, applicant tracking systems, reporting) - Provides cross-functional support within the recruitment team as needed (e.g., employee referral program, relocation) - Ensures compliance with government agency regulations (e.g., OFCCP, ADA) - Perform other duties as assigned - Comply with all policies and standards - Adheres to Company’s commitment to workplace safety Skills - High School Diploma or GED required - 1-3 years of recruiting or related experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required - Knowledge of recruitment and employment practices - Skills and ability to assess candidates effectively via telephone or face-to-face - Ability to work with a variety of jobs - Time management and organizational skills - Written and verbal communication skills - Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Bachelor's Degree preferred Company Overview - US LBM is a building materials company that provides lumber and building materials.
