In this role, you will build and maintain systems that power mission-critical workflows, lead a global team of data engineers, and oversee complex data platform projects.
Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a global team of data engineers and ML platform professionals
• Oversee execution of complex data platform projects and machine learning systems
• Implement a data strategy that modernizes platforms while aligning with business goals
• Manage financial responsibilities for a portfolio of data engineering projects
• Engage with business leaders to align data initiatives with organizational needs
Skills
• Comprehensive understanding of data domain including warehousing and governance
• Deep expertise in data engineering to lead large teams effectively
• Ability to create data as a product using AI technologies, preferably on GCP
• Strong grasp of modern architecture principles relevant to machine learning
• Proficiency in applying AI and machine learning to real business challenges
• Familiarity with machine learning platforms and technologies, such as SAS Viya
