I. Job Summary
The Employee Experience Senior Advisor plays a vital role in supporting the execution and delivery of employee experience initiatives that promote recognition, employee listening, culture and engagement, belonging, and overall experience effectiveness. This role works closely with EX leaders, COE stakeholders, and HR business partners, to ensure smooth delivery and execution of programs and processes. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating consistent experiences for all employees at WM. They bring strong communication skills, a curious and collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while understanding how their work contributes to broader organizational goals. This role can serve as a foundation for advancement into more strategic or managerial positions within Employee Experience or broader HR functions.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Program Coordination & Support
- Provide day-to-day operational support to ensure consistent and timely delivery of employee experience and belonging initiatives across the organization.
- Execute key program deliverables that support EX Strategy and drive towards desired key results.
- Coordinate the logistics for core listening events such as focus groups, pulse surveys, best practice sharing, leader roundtables, etc.
- Manage resource development and content management for EX and belonging programming, such as toolkits, playbooks, collaboration spaces, and online sites.
- Schedule training sessions, enterprise events, and other project meetings.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to align EX strategy with enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Respond to inquiries from employees, leaders, and vendor partners regarding questions, troubleshooting, or other needs, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Execute strategic communications, driving awareness specifically within frontline population, including but not limited to drafting and sending targeted communications, reminders, and program updates.
- Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program activities, including program participation, project plans, survey data, dashboards, and reporting.
- Track and monitor key metrics related to EX initiatives, ensuring data integrity across systems and tools.
- Generate reports and dashboards to assess program effectiveness, participation trends, and progress against goals, enabling informed decision making.
- Support data collection efforts from various internal and external platforms.
- Assist in preparing presentations and summaries that translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive employee information in accordance with WM’s data privacy standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline data tracking and reporting processes.

- Organize and synthesize feedback gathered from participants, facilitators, and stakeholders to identify trends and inform enhancements to program content, delivery, and logistics.
- Collaborate with EX stakeholders, HRBPs, Leaders, and CoEs to share best practices, challenges, and key items.
- Assist in updating and distributing communication materials, user guides, and toolkits to promote program understanding and adoption, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with feedback.
- Research and share best practices in employee engagement and other key opportunity areas to support ongoing program refinement and leader enablement.
- Maintain a repository of lessons learned, FAQs, and improvement ideas to support knowledge sharing and future planning.
III. Qualifications

A. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree accredited) in Human Resources, Business administration, or similar area of study or in lieu of degree
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited) + 2 years of relevant work experience.
- 4 years of related work experience in HR, Employee Experience, Culture & Engagement, or Belonging
