As a Senior AI Engineer, you will lead the end-to-end design and development of intelligent systems that drive real-world value. You will bring deep expertise in large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and scalable AI infrastructure to deliver features that are reliable, secure, and measurable.
Your Role with us
- AI System Design & Delivery: Build and scale advanced AI systems—including LLM-based pipelines and RAG architectures—into production across cloud-native, microservice-based environments.
- LLM Integration: Own the full lifecycle of LLM features including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation, orchestration, and real-time inference.
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Implement robust RAG pipelines with vector database integrations (e.g., Weaviate, Pinecone, FAISS), embedding generation, indexing, and retrieval optimization for context-aware applications.
- Software Engineering: Write clean, maintainable, and tested code in Python and/or TypeScript for scalable AI microservices.
- Infrastructure & Deployment: Containerize and deploy AI services using Docker and Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), aligning with best practices in MLOps and DevOps.
- Frameworks & Tooling: Leverage modern AI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Haystack to accelerate development and experimentation.
- Data Engineering Collaboration: Interface with data engineering teams to design and maintain robust data pipelines (ETL) handling unstructured data such as documents and user interactions.
- Monitoring & Observability: Implement logging, monitoring, and continuous evaluation loops for deployed models to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Cross-functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Backend Engineers, Designers, and Data Scientists to embed AI capabilities into user-facing applications.
What you bring to the table
- Proven experience deploying and maintaining AI features in production environments, ideally within SaaS or platform teams.
- Strong understanding of LLM concepts, including transformer architectures, RAG, fine-tuning, and LLMOps practices.
- Solid knowledge of vector stores, embeddings, and information retrieval best practices.
- Hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, and microservice-oriented architectures.
- Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, with the ability to deliver production-ready code.
- Familiarity with data privacy, security, and compliance requirements in AI applications.
- A strong problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and takes ownership of complex initiatives.
- Effective communicator and team player, eager to work across disciplines to solve user problems.
