Senior Bookkeeper | Full-time | Virtual | Australian Based Accounting Practice| Hired Direct
Salary: Between 65,000- 85,000 Pesos per month (depending on Experience)
Training: The successful person will be provided with in-depth training and potential for career development available.
Hours: Contractor based arrangement hours will be 7:00AM - 4:00PM (PHP time) MON- FRIDAY with flexibility within reason (Holidays aligned to Australia with additional Philippine holidays agreed to).
Location: The candidate will be working from home
Start Date: Flexible, or as soon as possible.

Job Summary
We are looking for someone with a great work ethic and a willingness to learn. Your loyalty and dedication will be rewarded at our small accounting practice.
Must have:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Australian Bookkeeping or accounting.
- Must have excellent knowledge of Xero bookkeeping software with hands-on experience.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or similar.
- Experience in bank reconciliation, preparing payroll, managing payables, and preparing BAS.
- Exposure to Hubdoc/DEXT or similar software.
- Must have a fast and stable internet connection for a permanent work from home arrangement
Tasks Experience (Highly desirable):
- This role demands a strong accounting background and involves processing bank transactions, recording supplier bills, performing bank reconciliations, processing payroll, and generating financial reports.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in processing of accounts payable and account receivable.
- Working knowledge of online banking and experience in month end reconciliations.
- Working knowledge of preparation of month-end management accounts.
- Experience of drafting email communication and handling day-to-day communication with clients.
Software exposure:
- Experience Xero Tax Package including Xero Practice Manager (XPM), Xero Accounting (Blue Xero).
- Experience with the Australian Tax Agent Portal including advanced comprehension of ATO correspondence, ATO online communication functions & reporting.
