Job Overview
As a Social Media Marketing Strategy Coordinator, you'll support social marketing strategies for DCP commercial priorities, working with favorite franchises like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Pixar, Lucas, and Disney Princess. You'll help shape and implement plans that connect with consumers across platforms, ensuring a smooth workflow for the team and contributing to content production across our DCP handles.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day management of Disney Consumer Products Marketing socials, including social calendar management and asset folder organization
- Maintain quality control of social pages and track post performance
- Build program recap decks in Keynote and collaborate with various teams for recap materials
- Assist in the execution of influencer gifting programs and development of creative briefs and planning documents
- Help develop, implement, and evaluate social media strategy, keeping up with technologies used in social media and continually seeking proactive knowledge of the target customer, retail, marketing, and social media trends
- Occasionally assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content
Essential Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of social marketing experience, preferably in consumer products
- Command of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) with a keen understanding of best practices, trends, and cross-channel tactics
- Highly organized, with the ability to efficiently handle many projects and tasks simultaneously
- Working knowledge of social media KPIs, strategy, and reporting
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop
- Strong creative production skills with a demonstrated ability to create social content
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets as well as Keynote
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with all levels internally and externally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Disney or similar brands
- Knowledge of social media analytics tools and social media management platforms
- Experience with content creation and editing tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar
