To support this mission, we're looking for a Junior Social Media Specialist to help bring our content to life across platforms. You’ll work closely with the Social Media Manager to coordinate content from across the company, whether it’s developers, product managers, or the PeopleOps team. From idea, to copy, to visuals - you’ll help manage Apify’s presence on LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and other platforms.

What you’ll be working on?Help execute Apify’s social media plan by turning inputs from across the company into great posts to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
Coordinate with developers, product managers, and other teams to gather the right information for each post.
Write short-form copy tailored to different platforms (LinkedIn, X, TikTok), including visuals and basic graphics in Figma.
Maintain and update the content calendar, making sure planned posts go out on time.
Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager and contribute to ongoing planning.
Help track reporting on content performance, think analytically, recognize what works, and suggest improvements.
Interact with Apify’s followers, respond to comments and DMs, handle basic support questions, and flag or help resolve potential issues when needed.
Support influencer initiatives from outreach to coordination, and help manage partnerships with dev and tech creators.
Keep an eye on current social media trends, platform updates, and new formats.
You have 2+ years of hands-on experience with social media management, content creation, and influencer management, ideally from an agency, or a tech environment.
You’re professionally curious about social media, enjoy writing short-form copy, and keep up with new formats and tools.
You’ve already helped shape social media posts end-to-end, from gathering inputs to writing copy, preparing visuals, and scheduling posts, ideally not just in one niche.
You can understand technical topics, ask the right people the right questions, and turn the result into a concise post that’s easy to read and engaging for our audience.
You know your way around Figma or similar tools and enjoy putting together simple, clean visuals for posts. Bigger design tasks are handled by the Design team.
You’re organized and reliable, able to juggle multiple topics at once, meet deadlines, collaborate, and keep track of your work.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English, as it’s the working language for both internal communication and external content at Apify.
Bonus points (not required, but nice to have):
A technical background, either from formal education or working with dev teams or tech tools.
Experience with dev-focused platforms like Reddit or similar communities.
Ability to edit short-form videos (e.g., in Veed or CapCut), add captions, or shoot quick reels-style content at events.
Experience managing influencer collaborations from start to finish.
Understand Apify’s communication style and social media presence.
Write and publish posts under supervision, adapting them to platform-specific formats.
Help initiate or coordinate new influencer partnerships with dev and tech creators
Maintain Apify’s online voice: reply to comments, support followers, and help handle various types of feedback.
As part of improving community interactions, start building a database of frequently used replies, grouped by scenario, to serve as a foundation for future automation of community management.
Explore opportunities for content repurposing by identifying top-performing posts suitable for reuse across platforms, and create a structured content library.
Maintain and update the content calendar with planned and published posts, and actively contribute to content planning based on ongoing events, product news, or company needs.
Take ownership of ongoing social media execution and publishing workflows, allowing the Social Media Manager to focus on strategic initiatives.
Conduct a visual inspiration dashboard to collect and organize high-quality social visuals relevant to tech, SaaS, and automation.
Run a dev community voice audit, analyzing how leading developer-focused brands engage with their audiences, and summarize learnings for Apify’s presence.
