Key Responsibilities:
- Execute thorough manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress.io.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to identify, log, and track bugs and defects.
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features and regression testing.
- Analyze test results and ensure solutions meet the required quality standards.
- Work in an agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements in software usability and functionality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in manual software testing and automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with Cypress.io for automation testing.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and REST APIs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an Agile or Scrum environment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
