Job Description:
• Leads the daily operation, application sustainment, and technical troubleshooting of the DFSP Intelligence Portal hosted on GCP.
• Manages the system security posture in strict accordance with DLA network, security, and configuration control policies.
• Performs end-user account maintenance and provides technical training to a global stakeholder community, including 500+ globally dispersed DFSPs.
• Facilitates bi-directional cross-application integration using standardized APIs and raw data feeds to ensure the system can ingest and export data from internal and external sources.
• Ensures the platform is nested and integrated with other DLA Enterprise capabilities, specifically routing documents to the Document Automation Content Service (DACS)-RM and integrating with the Enterprise Safety Applications Management System (ESAMS).
• Maintains system auditability by validating that digitally native and paper-based forms are correctly routed to the digital file system of record to support financial and petroleum audit requirements.
• Assists in the development and deployment of collaborative tools, including site visit forms, MOA generators, and condition assessment calendars.
• Assists in establishing the foundation for Big Data and AI by integrating structured and unstructured data into searchable, analytics-ready databases.
• Implements and monitors DLA-directed configuration control policies to ensure system stability and performance.
Requirements:
• Must pass a background investigation for an IT Non-Critical Sensitive level.
• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Must be eligible for a DLA Vendor Badge and Common Access Card (CAC).
• Mandatory certification at the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II level (e.g., Security+ CE) in accordance with DoDD 8140 and DoD 8570.01-M.
• Prior experience in the bulk petroleum industry or DoD energy supply chain management is highly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) administration and cloud-based document management tools.
• Strong understanding of DoD/DLA security requirements, including IT non-critical sensitive level investigations and CAC procedures.
• Familiarity with data science capabilities, advanced analytics, and AI modeling within a DoD environment.
• Ability to analyze business rules and identify process stovepipes to recommend improvements for more efficient energy supply chains.
• Fluent in English with the ability to provide clear technical support and training to diverse users at tactical, operational, and strategic levels.
