Certus Healthcare Management has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development professional to work with a growing long term care company in Ohio! Certus Healthcare Management owns and operates a network of 13 communities across the state, serving both rural and urban populations with personalized care and rehabilitation services. We are seeking an energetic and strategic Vice President of Business Development to lead our growth initiatives and expand our presence within the healthcare community. This pivotal role involves developing innovative strategies, forging strong partnerships, and driving revenue growth through targeted business development efforts. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for building relationships, leveraging CRM tools, and executing strategic plans that align with our mission to deliver exceptional care. We look for this person to oversee all marketing, census, business development aspects and help us continue to strive to be better and different. In addition, you will oversee our regional marketing and help direct our community engagement directors at the building level with community marketing plans.
This position will be considered a remote role but will require consistent travel to our communities across Ohio as well as travel to referral sources and at times our corporate office or offsite meeting locations. Our communities are located throughout northeast Ohio and the mid-east Ohio regions. We are looking for individuals that have prior Business Development, Marketing, or Centralized Intake experience. Prefer individuals with prior Regional or multi-site experience.
This position does come with a salary range up to $150K annually as well as a potential bonus structure.

Previous Experience should include some of the following:
- Proven experience in business development within healthcare or senior living sectors, demonstrating successful growth initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, sales techniques, negotiation skills, and project management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders including healthcare professionals and community partners.
- Familiarity with marketing principles relevant to healthcare services is a plus.

Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience in Business Development and Marketing Strategies in Long Term Care and the ability to develop new and innovative approaches to both Business Development and Marketing
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to increase market share and revenue streams.
- Identify new opportunities for growth by analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and community needs.
- Cultivate relationships with healthcare providers, referral sources, payers, and community organizations to foster partnerships.
- Lead negotiations for contracts, collaborations, and new business initiatives ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Oversee the utilization of CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage client interactions, and analyze sales data.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that promote our communities’ services and value propositions.
- Manage cross-functional projects related to expansion efforts, ensuring timely execution aligned with strategic goals.
Summary
This position is ideal for someone with prior marketing/business development experience in a long-term care setting. A Strong proven track record of increasing census while communicating a vision to potential customers is key. We are looking for this person to assist in converting hospital and community referrals into short term and long term stays without communities and over all assist in creating a positive environment with the interdisciplinary teams at the community level.
