Project Overview We are seeking an experienced Contract Attorney to support multiple ongoing pre-litigation intellectual property enforcement matters. This engagement involves drafting cease and desist letters and related enforcement materials across patent, trademark, and copyright matters. Current matters include: Patent infringement enforcement supported by an existing claim chart Trademark enforcement (including C&D, potential opposition, and UDRP-related work) Copyright and trademark enforcement against an infringing website The selected Contract Attorney will prepare draft materials only. All work will be reviewed, finalized, and issued by our law firm. The Contract Attorney will not be identified in any final correspondence. Project Goals Develop clear, persuasive, and legally sound pre-litigation enforcement materials Support a coordinated enforcement strategy across multiple IP areas Enable efficient internal review and rapid deployment of enforcement actions Scope of Work Draft cease and desist letters for: Patent infringement (based on an existing claim chart) Trademark infringement Copyright + trademark infringement (web-based) Assist with trademark enforcement support, including: Opposition-related drafting (as needed) UDRP complaint drafting or review (as applicable) Prepare a DMCA takedown notice where appropriate Provide concise internal notes or recommendations to support enforcement strategy Revise drafts based on internal attorney feedback Deliverables Draft cease and desist letters (multiple matters) Draft UDRP or opposition materials (if applicable) Draft DMCA takedown notice (if applicable) Optional short internal strategy memos Required Skills U.S. intellectual property law expertise Experience with patent, trademark, and copyright enforcement Strong legal drafting skills (pre-litigation / demand letters) Ability to work from technical materials (e.g., claim charts) Nice-to-Have Skills TTAB proceedings experience UDRP/domain dispute experience Online enforcement and DMCA experience Technical background relevant to patent matters Timeline Deadline: Initial deliverables within 2 weeks Budget $50–$110 per hour Project Scope Medium (across multiple discrete matters) Expected Duration: Less than 6 months Potential ongoing contracts Proposal Instructions Please include: Examples of pre-litigation IP enforcement work (C&D letters across patent, trademark, or copyright) Any experience with claim charts, TTAB proceedings, or UDRP matters Your approach to drafting enforcement communications across different IP types Confirmation of U.S. IP law experience We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
