Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures to help diagnose and treat medical conditions
- Operate CT scanners and other equipment to produce high-quality images
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide exceptional patient care and customer service
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- National and state certification as a CT Technologist (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to live 60 miles away from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a travel or temporary assignment capacity
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and radiology information systems (RIS)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
