As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, responsible for providing exceptional guest service to our customers. Your role will involve maintaining courteous, professional contact with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community at large. You will be expected to maintain a neat appearance and good personal hygiene, adhering to our image standards. Additionally, you will support and follow established safety, security, quality guidelines, as well as our policies, procedures, practices, and programs. Your safety and the safety of others is our top priority, and you will be required to report any accidents or incidents to your manager immediately.
As a Customer Service Representative, your essential functions will include providing exceptional guest service, being courteous, and always greeting and thanking all customers while making eye contact. You will conduct all point-of-sale activities accurately and safely, adhering to blithequark guidelines and procedures. This includes retail and fuel sales transactions completed through multiple forms of payment. You will maintain a cash drawer to be at or below the maximum level, secure all funds in a safe, and perform cashier reconciliation at each end of your shift to ensure accurate management of sales.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays. You will need to have strong attention to detail, the ability to handle challenging situations professionally, and exercise exceptional judgment. You will need to be able to work both independently and in team settings. Additionally, you must possess required up-to-date food handling certificates, as required by law, in specific locations only. Cooking or restaurant experience is preferred, but not required.
