About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. As a remote team member, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team. This full-time position requires availability to work any shift schedule between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Our office, located at 2300 West Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89102, will be the hub for our 2 weeks of paid training, which will be conducted onsite. As a remote employee, you will be required to adhere to arenaflex's Telecommuter Policy, ensuring a seamless and productive work experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls from healthcare providers, such as physician offices and clinics, and identify the type of assistance needed, including benefit and eligibility, billing and payments, authorizations for treatment, and explanation of benefits.
- Focus on resolving issues on the first call, navigating complex computer systems to identify the status of the issue and provide an appropriate response to the caller.
- Deliver information and answer questions in a positive and empathetic manner, facilitating strong relationships with providers and their staff.
- Complete documentation necessary to track provider issues and facilitate the reporting of overall trends, ensuring data-driven insights and continuous improvement.
- Interact with providers to develop relationships, manage a high volume of calls, and develop knowledge of various products and benefits, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service.
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a foundation in education and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Must be 18 years of age or older, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a related environment, such as office, administrative, clerical, customer service, or healthcare.
- Must live within 30 miles of Las Vegas, NV, ensuring proximity to our office and facilitating collaboration with the team.
- Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications, such as CRM software and healthcare systems.
- Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, build rapport, and respond to customers in a compassionate and empathetic manner, showcasing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in problem-solving, with the ability to quickly assess the current state and formulate recommendations, demonstrating critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from Monday - Friday, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a related environment, such as customer service, healthcare, or administration, with a proven track record of success and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Prior healthcare experience, with knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare systems, and regulatory requirements, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry and its complexities.
