Role Overview
As an Eligibility Representative I, you will play a critical role in processing and maintaining eligibility information for routine individual and/or employer groups under direct supervision. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate eligibility records for assigned line of business, including entering system eligibility data on a daily basis, such as new enrollees, changes, and cancellations.
- Conduct periodic audits of group eligibility data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Reconcile group eligibility reports to monthly statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Respond to all written and telephone eligibility inquiries from individuals or assigned employer groups, providing timely and accurate information.
- Research information on subscribers to resolve problems and disputes, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain quality and production standards as outlined by the department, consistently meeting or exceeding performance goals.
- Assist with special projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, as well as one year of general work experience. You should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
