About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Fund Accountant to join our team on a remote "work from home" basis. As a Fund Accountant, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Capital Markets team and external fund administration team responsible for our Consumer Credit hedge fund. Your expertise in accounting and attention to detail will be instrumental in driving the team's success and continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all components of fund accounting, including investor allocations, investor servicing, cash reconciliation, NAV calculation, and financial statement preparation.
- Perform daily accounting tasks supporting fund operations and financial reporting for the Consumer Credit hedge fund.
- Maintain fund expense records and coordinate payments with accounts payable.
- Complete investor performance reports and maintain dashboards ensuring cash and account reconciliations are accurate.
- Assist with documenting and operationalizing processes, and provide support to the Capital Markets team handling investors' questions.
- Collaborate with the external fund accounting administrator to resolve clearing breaks and review the monthly close package.
- Assist with audit responsibilities for the Consumer Credit hedge fund and related trusts.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 2+ years of experience in hedge fund accounting, corporate accounting, or high-volume reconciliations.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with large data sets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative working style and demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships.
- An inquisitive nature, attention to detail, diligence, work ethic, a learning mindset, and a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- CPA or CFA certification.
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Knowledge of fund accounting software and systems.

Compensation and Benefits
We're offering a competitive salary range of $53,445 to $80,167 annually, plus benefits. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
