About the Role
As a General Warehouse Associate, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive their furniture purchases on time and in excellent condition. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely unloading trailers and accurately placing inventory in the warehouse
- Confirming item numbers and prepping merchandise for deliveries
- Loading merchandise into customers' vehicles
- Providing exceptional customer service and supporting your colleagues in the warehouse
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Collaborating with your team to achieve warehouse goals and objectives
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Willingness to submit to a physical capability test
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information to customers and team members
- Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

Schedule and Work Arrangements
This is a full-time or part-time position, with expected hours of 40 per week. You'll be required to work a variety of shifts, including:
- 10 hour shifts
- 8 hour shifts
- Day shifts
- Evening shifts
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime as needed
- Weekends as needed
Relocation Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll need to be willing to relocate to Amherst, NY before starting work.
