About Our Global Inbound Center (GIC)
Our GIC team is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences by providing real-time support through inbound chats, scheduled callbacks, and voice calls. We're committed to understanding our customers' needs, educating them about the benefits of AWS, and helping them embark on their cloud journey. As a Global Inbound Center Representative, you will play a critical role in driving customer obsession, lead generation, and demand creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective responses to global customers' inquiries through inbound chats, scheduled callbacks, and calls, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Identify customers' pain points and capture their needs for cloud services, converting them into marketing qualified leads (MQLs) with proper handover notes and process to our global sales stakeholders.
- Follow up on unconverted MQLs to maximize sales qualified lead conversion, resulting in an upward trend of pipeline contribution.
- Build and maintain a robust AWS leads database by researching, updating, and maintaining customer information within Salesforce and Amazon Connect.
- Educate and nurture customers/prospects at the beginning of their cloud journey, tailoring messaging about AWS services and unique differentiators to move them from warm or little interest to active interest.
- Represent the voice of the customer, recommending next steps to improve the customer experience to the GDSC/GIC/product team and other relevant internal stakeholders.
- Navigate the nuances of international communication/culture, demonstrating excellent chat support etiquette.
- Collaborate with an adaptable global cross-functional team driving operational excellence and better customer experience.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree or relevant education background.
- 2+ years of work experience in Sales, Marketing, or customer engagement roles.
- Fluency in Spanish (speaking, writing, and reading).
- Fluency in French (speaking, writing, and reading).
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies related to cloud computing.
- Excellent listening skills, with the ability to understand customers' needs and ask clarifying/probing questions.
- Clear, concise, and confident communication skills via phone or chat.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, having the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Previous experience working in a cloud computing or technology company.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, with experience in lead generation and demand creation.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Amazon Connect.
