We're seeking a talented and charismatic Group Fitness Trainer/Dancer to lead our high-energy classes and help us spread the AKT movement.

Key Responsibilities: Lead, Motivate, and Inspire
- Provide high-energy AKT workouts that adhere to our signature standards and protocols
- Instruct clients using proper form, safe methods, and modifications to ensure a challenging yet accessible experience for all fitness levels
- Conduct private, semi-private, demo, or additional sessions as needed to support client goals and studio growth
- Maintain a clean and orderly workout environment, and assist with class setup to ensure a seamless experience for clients
- Be a motivating and inspiring force in the AKT Community, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages client engagement and retention
- Support studio growth by promoting retail, studio events, and classes through effective communication and marketing strategies
- Build class attendance and retain current clientele through professional interaction, personalized attention, and exceptional customer service
- Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations to stay up-to-date on the latest training methods, studio initiatives, and industry trends
- Assist front desk and General Manager with studio tour, check-in, and sales as needed to provide a cohesive and welcoming client experience
- Maintain a strong, professional social media presence to increase class following, promote studio events, and showcase the AKT brand
Essential Qualifications: Experience, Expertise, and Passion
To succeed as an AKT Group Fitness Trainer/Dancer, you'll need:
- A professional dance resume (highly recommended) that showcases your experience, skills, and achievements in dance, fitness, or a related field
- Experience teaching group classes, with a demonstrated ability to provide effective group class instruction and adapt to diverse client needs
- A charismatic, tenacious, positive, and motivational teaching style that inspires and motivates clients to push their limits and achieve their goals
- Punctuality, reliability, and dedication to delivering high-quality classes and exceptional client service
- A desire to build a successful business in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on client engagement, retention, and studio growth
- Professional, effective, and empathetic communication skills, with a focus on customer service and client relationships
- Fitness certification (preferred) in a relevant discipline such as group fitness, dance, or strength training
- Current (or willingness to obtain) valid CPR/AED certification to ensure client safety and well-being
Preferred Qualifications: Additional Skills and Experience
While not essential, the following qualifications can enhance your application and success as an AKT Group Fitness Trainer/Dancer:
- Experience with HIIT and strength interval training, dance, barre/toning, and Pilates methods
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science to inform your teaching and client interactions
- Social media savvy, with a strong online presence and ability to leverage social media platforms to promote the AKT brand and studio events
