About the Role
As a Kids Development Teacher and Party Specialist at My Gym, you'll be responsible for teaching children's fitness classes and facilitating exciting birthday parties. Key Responsibilities
- Teach children's fitness classes, ensuring a safe, engaging, and fun environment for all participants
- Facilitate birthday parties, providing an exceptional experience for children and their families
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different age groups and abilities
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to My Gym's high standards
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve business objectives
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 15 hours availability per week, including weekends
- Experience working with children in a fitness or developmental capacity
- A background in fitness, athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, or a related field
- Effective leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to engage and inspire children
- A clean background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications will be highly regarded:
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry
- Certifications in children's fitness, gymnastics, or a related field
- First aid and CPR certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
