As a Material Expert, you will be an integral part of our team, working collaboratively with other departments to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records and logs of inventory and supplies
- Coordinate with various Technical Operations Groups to deliver aircraft parts and materials
- Perform a variety of tasks, including receiving, shipping, checking, ordering, issuing, inspecting, storing, and warehousing supplies, tools, and materials
- Operate warehouse equipment and maintain records and reports associated with inventory management
- Deliver parts and materials to the maintenance department and ground equipment support division
- Assemble and/or construct loading containers, racks, and decks using required power tools when necessary
- Drive motor vehicles to pick up and deliver parts, equipment, materials, and tools as assigned
- Attend initial and ongoing training to stay up-to-date on knowledge, information, and equipment
- Work collaboratively as part of a lean staff team serving cities operated by the airline
- Wear visual identification as required by the Company for ready recognition
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S.
- No current or future work authorization sponsorship available
- Ability to meet physical capacity requirements listed in the job description
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role
- Familiarity with lean principles and practices
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
