Minimal Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following minimal qualifications and requirements:
- Earned EdD or PhD in Education from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Demonstrated expertise in qualitative research methods and a strong understanding of applied research principles.
- Superior interpersonal, customer service, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
- Creative, innovative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and approach complex problems from multiple angles.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Canvas, as well as excellent technical skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Full doctrinal compatibility with Liberty University, as well as a personal commitment to the university's mission and values.
- Pastoral reference letter, signed by the Pastor from your current church, dated 2023 or 2024, on the church letterhead.
- Two professional reference letters, highlighting your expertise, teaching experience, and personal qualities.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
While not required, the following qualifications and experience are preferred:
- Established record of research and scholarship, evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
- Experience mentoring doctoral students, particularly in the areas of capstone, dissertation, or thesis development.
