Job Overview
This Facets Developer position is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, offering a competitive salary and immediate start date. As a key member of our team, you will participate in the delivery and coding for Facets testing and implementation, working closely with our development team to design, develop, and test applications in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise in healthcare domain knowledge, particularly in healthcare terminology, will be invaluable in driving our projects forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Healthcare Domain Expertise: Utilize your strong healthcare domain knowledge to inform design and development decisions, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.
- Design and Development: Design, develop, and test inbound and outbound interfaces using PL/SQL and C#.NET, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Code Review and Unit Testing: Conduct thorough code reviews and unit testing to ensure the highest quality of our applications, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Release Management and Optimization: Apply best practices in release management, systems optimization, environmental validation, and issue resolution, ensuring our applications are robust, efficient, and reliable.
- Facets Data Model and Extension Development: Leverage your understanding of the Facets Data Model to build Facets extensions, utilizing your experience with Core Facets batch jobs and EDI transactions (835 and 837).
- Technical Design and Documentation: Create detailed technical design documents, translating functional specs into actionable plans, and collaborating with the team to ensure successful implementation.
- Hands-on Technical Expertise: Apply your hands-on knowledge of Sqlserver, Facets, Unix, and Tidal Scheduler to drive project success, supporting defect remediation, QA, and release management procedures.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Facets Customization Development Experience: Proven experience with Facets customization development, working with extensions, integrations, and/or data conversions.
- Facets Data Model Understanding: A good understanding of the Facets data model and Facets batch jobs, with experience working with .Net, C#, and SQL Server.
- US Health Insurance Implementation Experience: Experience with US health insurance implementation using Facets, with a strong background in PL/SQL, C#, .NET, and SQL Server.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Sqlserver, Facets, Unix, and Tidal Scheduler, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience with Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
- Cloud Computing Experience: Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and containerization using Docker.
- DevOps Tools: Knowledge of DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, or CircleCI, and experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
