We are seeking a highly skilled, proactive, and reliable Overnight Counsellor to join our team. As an Overnight Counsellor, you will play a critical role in providing immediate support and guidance to our clients, conducting screening assessments, and overseeing the engagement of individuals with our services. This is an exceptional opportunity for a fully qualified Psychotherapist/Counsellor to make a significant impact in the lives of others while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
To be successful in this role, you must hold a recognized qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy at Level 5 or higher, with a minimum of 100 accrued counselling hours. Individual membership and registration with a professional association or organization governed by a recognized code of ethics and disciplinary process (e.g., IACP, BACP, BPC, NCPS, UKCP, BABCP, COSCA, ICP, APPI, PSI) are essential requirements. You should possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting key objectives around call volume and quality.
To excel in this role, you should demonstrate strong teamwork and initiative, with excellent planning and organizational skills. You must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate others and work effectively in a team environment.
At Spectrum.Life, we offer a competitive salary of £33,000 per annum pro rata, plus a 10% bonus and employee benefits. You will have the opportunity to work from home, with a part-time permanent contract that includes 24 hours per week. After an initial two weeks of fully paid training (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm), you will work three nights per week.
