Key Responsibilities
As a Personal Trainer at be FITNESS, you'll play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their fitness goals. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing new member fitness consultations and evaluations to understand client needs and goals
- Developing individualized exercise programs based on client abilities, health, and goals
- Maintaining accurate and current records on all client exercise programs and progress
- Accurately recording daily work, actual time worked, and client sessions in our tracking system
- Actively participating in meetings and training programs to stay up-to-date on the latest fitness trends and best practices
- Attending club-sponsored developmental or educational seminars and programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Maintaining valid trainer and CPR/AED certification to ensure client safety
Essential Qualifications
To succeed as a Personal Trainer at be FITNESS, you'll need:
- An Associates Degree in Kinesiology or a related field
- Certification from a reputable organization such as ACSM, NASM, NSCA, or ACE
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and team members
- The ability to read, understand, and communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, to maintain accurate records and reports
- The ability to adapt to a frequently changing environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- U.S. Work Authorization (required)
