Job Summary
We're seeking experienced Customer Care Agents to work remotely on our 2nd shift and weekend hours. As a Customer Care Agent, you'll have the opportunity to create raving fans for Lighting New York every single day. You'll work with our customers over the phone, on live chat, and through email, providing top-notch support and resolving unique problems in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer support over the phone, on live chat, and through email
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Work independently to solve unique problems and think outside the box to come up with creative solutions
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and contribute to our goal of providing the best customer service in the industry
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in customer care or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Availability to work flexible schedules between 3pm - Midnight Eastern Time, including weekend shifts 9am - Midnight Eastern Time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the lighting industry or a related field
- Experience with live chat and email support
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Certification in customer service or a related field

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- $16.00/hr starting salary with a $1/hour increase after 60-day provisional period
- Quarterly bonuses and performance-based incentives
