Job Overview
As a Remote Bookkeeper for our fast-paced HVAC and plumbing services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions. You will work closely with our business administrators and accountants to document financial transactions, oversee accounts payable and receivable, and provide analytical insights to the leadership team. Key Responsibilities
- Financial Transaction Documentation: Partner with business administrators and accountants to ensure precise financial transaction documentation, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Oversee the workflow of accounts payable and receivable across diverse business lines, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Analytical Insights: Provide analytical insights regarding collections and expenditures to the leadership team, helping inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Development: Collaborate with operations leadership to create and refine SOPs for our business processes, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to the leadership team, providing insights into our financial performance and areas for improvement.
Essential Qualifications
- Bookkeeping and Accounting Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably in the HVAC and plumbing industry.
- QuickBooks Proficiency: Essential proficiency in QuickBooks, with experience in managing financial transactions, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to analyze financial data and provide insights to the leadership team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
- CPA Certification: A CPA certification is preferred, but not required.
