Job Overview
As a Future Sales Growth Specialist, you'll be responsible for driving sales and profitability objectives for your designated sales territory. You'll prospect, consult, and sell to Fire, EMS, or Healthcare and Hospital markets within a specified geographic territory spanning several states. This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership over a territory, develop sales plans and strategies, and become accustomed to identifying all types of opportunities and converting them into tangible, long-term pipeline and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to achieve sales and profitability objectives
- Prospect, consult, and sell to Fire, EMS, or Healthcare and Hospital markets within a specified geographic territory
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Present, influence, negotiate, and persuade key stakeholders and decision-makers to drive sales growth
- Manage and develop an assigned territory with a strategic plan for prospecting and sales growth
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to maintain a competitive edge
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas, including:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven sales experience required, preferably in the public safety/healthcare industry and/or SaaS selling environments
- Experience with CRM software for pipeline management and reporting
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the proven ability to present, influence, negotiate, and persuade key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Proven track record in driving successful sales growth by managing and developing an assigned territory with a strategic plan for prospecting
- Self-starter who can work effectively and thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment
- High self-motivation and strong goal-orientation with the ability to operate independently and follow through until desired outcomes are achieved with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Sandler Selling or experience with other consultative sales methodologies
- Experience working in a remote sales team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study, professional training, and guidance from senior team members
