Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Implementation Manager to join our Professional Services team, supporting large, Enterprise-grade business customers in launching Amazon Business as a supplier. As an Implementation Manager, you will play a critical role in driving customer success, accelerating user engagement, and adoption of Amazon Business solutions. Your expertise in translating ambiguous customer needs into technical strategies, coupled with your broad knowledge of technology domains, will enable you to scope solutions, estimate timelines, set customer expectations, and build architectures and plans that yield business results and meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple, concurrent implementation projects of varying sizes and scopes, ensuring timely and successful delivery of Amazon Business solutions to our customers.
- Conduct deep discovery conversations with customers to understand their business and purchasing processes, designing tailored Amazon Business solutions that meet their technical requirements and goals.
- Oversee the execution of solutions, including technical setup, testing, change management, and solution adoption, ensuring delivery quality and adherence to our high customer commitment standards.
- Effectively communicate proposed solutions, project updates, and risks to customers and Amazon Business Leadership, fostering transparency and trust throughout the implementation process.
- Assess program risks, anticipate challenges, and provide escalation management when necessary, ensuring proactive mitigation of potential issues and seamless project execution.
- Drive and accelerate spend adoption through change management activities, advising customers on best practices for using Amazon Business solutions and ensuring successful onboarding and integration.
- Meet or exceed targets for customer and/or feature spend adoption, contributing to the growth and success of our customers and the Amazon Business platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, tech, and marketing, to scale solutions that increase customer adoption and enhance the Amazon Business offering.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of skills, experience, and personal qualities. The following qualifications are essential for this position:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments, with a proven track record of driving business growth and customer success.
- Knowledge of procurement and source-to-pay methods at small and medium businesses, as well as experience translating customer needs into business requirements.
- 3+ years of B2B implementation or services delivery experience, with a strong understanding of the technology domains that Amazon Business integrates with, such as supply chain, ERP, and eProcurement solutions.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level, with a strong ability to communicate complex ideas and solutions to diverse stakeholders.
- 5+ years of implementing procurement and source-to-pay processes and solutions for enterprise customers, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this space.
- Experience with change management, with a proven ability to drive adoption and ensure successful onboarding and integration of new solutions and technologies.
