Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and updates
• Check patients in for appointments and complete necessary forms
• Register new patients and update established patients
• Verify and collect insurance information
• Screen uninsured patients for alternate coverage options
• Provide administrative support to the Patient Access Department
• Rotate through all Patient Access areas and fill-in wherever needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience providing excellent direct customer service
• 1 year of experience working in a role that required strict attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn various computer systems
